Whoever had control of the sound during Ben Fuller & We Are Messengers' performance seemed to be facing some issues. In the 2nd row, right in front of the stage, all we could hear was the thumping bass. Ben Fuller and the We Are Messengers' singer were barely audible. Their microphones appeared to be low while the bass was cranked up. It was more sorrowful than annoying. Hopefully, someone realized the sound problem, or perhaps John Scofield had their own sound engineer, as their performance was excellent once they took the stage, as one would expect at a big concert like this. I hope this sound issue doesn't occur at every tour stop.
